Marco is the kind of dog that people can't take their eyes off of. It's not that he is beautiful, although he is a very handsome Malinois. It's more that as soon as you see him, you know something exciting is going to happen. The alertness of expression, the glint in his eye, the energy in his movement. You can't miss the signs that this is the dog to watch.

Even when Marco didn't make the points in a trial, people approached me to tell me how much they liked him. How fast, how powerful, how impressive he was. I feel the same way. Training Marco, trialing Marco, or just watching him run at the park, I feel lucky to have known a dog with that much life inside of him. Marco is the sort of dog you have once in a lifetime.

During his Schutzhund (IPO) career, he made some good points and was on the podium at both the American Working Malinois Association (AWMA) and the German Malinois Club (DMC) Nationals. He also qualified for FMBB (Belgian Shepherd) and FCI world teams.

His best trial for points was at the 2003 DMC Championat, where he made 98 96 94 for 288 and third place in the trial. The 279 (96 89 94) he made at the 2004 FMBB World Championships was also impressive as he did the entire trial on a broken toe.

Marco has had three litters of puppies so far:

He was bred to Bo vom Roten Milan Sch3 in Europe. You can see some pictures of these pups on the Marco X Bo puppy page.

Marco was bred to G'Karma du Loups du Soleil Sch3, producing the Loups du Soleil N litter. You can see some pictures of these pups on the Marco X G'Karma puppy page.

Marco was most recently bred to Trenity, producing a nice, consistent litter of very drivey pups. I wasn't looking for a pup for me, but I the pups were so good, I couldn't resist one of the males when he was offered to me. I'll post pics and video of him soon.
