Future Litters

If you're new to puppies, you need to check out The Housebreaking Bible for lots of free training information about potty schedules, crate training, doggy doors, supervision and puppy proofing, picking an outdoor potty area, papertraining, litter box training and problem solving.

I put most of my time energy into training and trialing my dogs, so I don't breed a lot. But I keep very good Malinois and I do occasionally breed a litter of Malinois puppies, usually to get a new dog to work. I currently own two dogs, and I'm lucky to have a couple of really good females available to me on breeding co-ownerships.

I have only bred three litters in the past 6 years, so I keep a waiting list for people who are specifically interested in a malinois puppy from my breeding. Please call me or send me an email if you are interested in being added to the list. And if the wait is too long, I may be able to steer you towards another good breeder with similiar bloodlines.

When I breed, I take the time to do it right. This is not a business, this is my passion. I raise every puppy as if he will be my future competition dog, because he might. I have bred some very good Mals, and I think this is in part because I put the time into the early handling, training and socialization of each puppy that I bred.

I play a lot with my puppies, and every game has a goal. I make my pups work for every bit of food that they get and this makes them much easier to track and train in the obedience. I teach puppies from the beginning to be assertive, not submissive. I make them comfortable with lots of eye contact and physical contact, which translates into more driven, animated obedience. I teach them to take what they want, not wait for it to be given to them. This translates into dogs with more drive and a strong strike in the bite work.

I keep my bitches on a very healthy diet and carefully start puppies on a wide variety of foods. The puppies I raise have been very healthy and have tremendous food drive. This food drive translates into adults that are easy to train with food and that can switch between food and toys very easily, a quality many Belgian Malinois lack.

I spend a lot of time with my puppies, handling them, playing with them and training them many times a day. I expose the pups to lots of noise, new people and new environments. By the time I send puppies home, they have already met dozens of people, ridden in the car, and been to the mall.
